Today I'm wrapping up Round 2 of my Scrapmingle Series Where New meets Old on Youtube. If you've missed any of the series be sure to go back and watch from the beginning.
I finished 3 layouts this round and they're each very different but I love them all. I hope you look at your stash or purchasing choices differently now and see how you can have the latest greatest collections and use up your stash at the same time.
Stay tuned to the end when I announce what's coming next.....
The Scrap Stash Busting Series.
Thanks for watching and I'll see you Friday with a new challenge for My Scraps and More
I've had this quote written down in my planner for a long time waiting to create a layout with it. I stumbled upon this picture of my kiddos on one of the last days of their summer kids camp job and thought it was perfect. I found this sketch from the Boys Rule Scrapbook blog and decided to flip and turn it for my starting point.
I used almost all the paper I had left from the Treasure Map collection for the layout and then pulled some blue and red paper from a Crate Paper pad to cut my title from the new Cricut Artistry cartridge. I just love this font!!
It's time for another Scrapmingle: where new meets old on my youtube channel. This round we're working with October Afternoons Treasure Map collection. I used only one sheet, the plaid one that I love so much and then several items from my stash.
Supplies used
October Afternoon Treasure Map
Chickaniddy Scrumptious
Crate Paper cut apart
Studio Calico 7 Papers puffy stickers
Pink Paislee Atlas puffy stickers, ephemera
My Minds Eye tag
twine mini stapler
Tim Holtz Vintage Photo distress pad
I'm so excited to be back this week with another process video for my new video series ScrapMingle - Where new and old meet. Thank you so much for all the kind words and response I've had to this series.
This week I took my cue for my color scheme from the Poolside paper which included navy, mint green, and pink. I used it for almost the whole page so I didn't need much more, just a few scraps of paper and embellishments.
Here's a look at the process from beginning to end.
Join me each Wednesday on my Youtube channel - TinaGAle to see a new process video and a look at how I work with one new collection and mix it up with my stash to have the best of both worlds: using the latest trendy collections and a little stash busting.
I hope you'll join me each week and play along as well.
And some close ups

Welcome back to the second layout in my Scrapmingle series. I pulled the pink and teal papers to start my layout then pulled other items from my stash to stretch it out. It feels good to get so much product used up and some old photos with memories documented.
Here's a look at the process of my choices and product I used.
