$5 Stamp of the Month What a Hoot

Each month you can purchase a new D-size stamp set, available for one month only, for just $5 — that’s over 70% off retail! When you place an order of $50 or more in Close To My Heart products, you qualify for this special Stamp of the Month pricing.

This month What a Hoot is an adorable owl with lots of cute little accessories and even a couple of sentiments. Think outside of the box and stamp the owl onto patterned paper then fussy cut. Use Confetti Wishes and make him a birthday owl complete with the little striped cone hat. Or stamp the crown and flowers and make a lovely little girl owl with the Brushed Collection. He's so much more than just Halloween!

Here's some examples of the typical way you could use him for fall. A little gift bag made with the Scaredy Cat collection. How cute is that?

A wonderful fall layout made with the new Pathfinding collection; one of my favorite new paper lines.

CTMH Ivy Lane

Today I have two fabulous layouts from the beautify Ivy Lane, retiring in just 2 more days.
This layout is done with the Workshop on the Go

I added flip flaps to get even more photos of my daughter's 13th birthday.

My second layout I used the Cricut Artbooking cartridge to do the wonderful honeycomb overlay.
I love to play with the overlays on this cartridge. Everything else was stamped with the WOTG stamp set and then I used the coordinating Ivy Lane assortment to finish the embellishing.

Both layouts are part of this months Scrap Club. You can join us if your local or have it shipped to you. Full instructions and cut guides are included.

Pure Joy CTMH Ivy Lane Layout

I have another layout to show using the lovely Ivy Lane.
I'm not much of a purple girl but with all the pinks and greens I love it!
I've been itching to use the hexagon stamp and then I found a fabulous sketch at Nuts About Sketches. This is sketch 292

Some close ups of the title. I used the Ivy Lane WOTG stamp to create it. I colored in some of the design with Olive and then stamped the word and trimmed around it to pop up over the die cut. The shape is cut from Artiste so it's super quick to get a title. A little bring on each side completed it.

Supplies used:
Ivy Lane WOTG for the paper and stamp set as well as the bling

Ivy Lane Case this Sketch

If you follow my blog you know I've been finishing off some of the upcoming retired papers from Close to my Heart. I found this great sketch and decided to use it with some papers left on my table.

Here's my take on the sketch using my Ivy Lane papers and an embellishment from an even older collection Laughing Lola. I love how CTMH's collections work so well together.

When I finish up my layouts I always round up my scraps and keep them in a bag until I can sit and create cards with them. This last week I spent some time finishing off some retiring paper packs.
This is one of my favorites Timberline. It's perfect for guys cards and I never seem to have any so I decided to keep them all on my the manly side.
