Illustrated Faith Persevere: Week 1

I'm back with my first entry for the new Illustrated Faith  Persevere kit. I'm loving the new format and think you will too. The weekly cards are really helping me to really delve into the scripture more and not get overwhelmed with the decorating part. I love to keep things simple and with the beautiful artwork provided in the kits it's easy to do just that and still have fabulous entries.

Here's a detailed look at Day 1.

The small notecard from Shanna Noel is one of my favorite ways to start in on a new kit. I added it to the page with a bit of the washi from the kit and then added one of the new diecuts on top. Don't you just adore the diecuts and all that gold foiling? Gorgeous!!

The new washi stickers are a lot of fun. At first I wasn't sure about the tabs but I think I'm going to love them. They're strong but very flexible and light weight so easier on the pages. I don't think they'll put stress on the pages like the cardstock ones will. I'll keep you posted.

New Illustrated Faith Bible Journaling Kit - Persevere

You’re going to love the next kit! You'll see many changes as a result of all the feedback they received from a recent survey. You asked for ever-changing formats, a lower price point and versatility. Well let me tell you Illustrated Faith delivered on all of that and another beautiful kit that's rich in content to have you digging deep and growing in your walk with God.

Let's take  closer look at the new kit Persevere.

So, what’s new?
  • New kits are only $20! Even better,  you can take 25% off with code THANKYOU from now until  7/31.
  • It comes in a clear, plastic string-tie envelope
  • 4 devotional cards
  • 4 journaling cards
  • gold-accents throughout
  • Translucent stickers
  • heart-shaped tip-ins
  • 25 fun die cuts
  • “Persevere” washi tape
  • 10 coordinating stamps.

The new kit includes 4 devotional cards (to prompt you through 4 weeks of Bible journaling) and 4 journaling cards (left blank for you to respond to the devotional cards).

All 8 cards are beautifully designed art prints that could easily be used as tip-ins or framed for beautiful art work. I think they'd be great made into a mini book as well! Stay tuned to see how I use mine.

The  stamp set is smaller than normal but still beautiful and one you'll use over and over again. I don't know about you but I can only use so many stamp sets so I'm ok with this.
The die cuts are gorgeous!! and No more fussy cutting. And there are  a lot of them!

Paige Evans Oh My Heart layouts with Process Video (ScrapRoom kit)

I'm chugging along with my Video A Day in July. I'm using Pink Paislee Oh My Heart collection designed by Paige Evans from my May Flavors of the Month kit from the ScrapRoom. It's gorgeous so I've done a total of 3 layouts so far and still have product left. I love my kits!!

I started out quick and simple with minimal product but when the collection is this beautiful it doesn't take much.

You can see the full process here

Next I pulled out my silhouette and a free cut file I had downloaded from the silhouette store. I think it's too cute with it's fringe.

Next up I kept going with my silhouette and cut some butterflies and kept it pretty simple but again with this collection it turned out gorgeous!

Happy Birthday with process video (The ScrapRoom)

I love using up my stash and one way is to pull out nothing but scraps and see what you can do with them. I love the Pebbles Girl Squad collection in this months ScrapRoom kit and couldn't resist doing one more layout with it. I don't have any full sheets of paper but plenty to do a nice layout. And crazy thing is when I finished I still have enough to do another one.

You can watch the whole process here

Pulling out a couple of chipboard stickers from my stash changed up this entire collection to a birthday theme! How great is that.

There's so many reasons to go shopping at Dayspring but I thought I would share just a few things I've gotten this year that bring me joy almost everyday.

Bible journaling has become an everyday thing for me and Dayspring carries everything I need in one easy place. I love the kangaroo pouch for my pens and small supplies and the large organizing bag holds a perfect amount of supplies for on the go along with my Bible.

Staying organized and ready to go is a must with my busy life.

And who can resist all the beautiful Illustrated Faith products in the store?? I mean really they've thought of it all. The clear cuts are some of my favorites along with the washi.

The daily agenda planner is where I start each day. I'm using mine for my daily scripture writing. It's perfect size and I love that I can go back and reference all the scriptures I've been studying on a certain topic so easily. Again it's keeping me organized. My current planner holds all my blog and youtube schedule so I have two going at the moment. I love the encouragement and beautiful artwork keeping me inspired everyday.

I can always find beautiful gifts for my family and friends as well. These journals are loved by my hubby and daughter. They each use them for different things but each time they open them they are reminded they are loved not only by me but buy their Savior and Lord Jesus Christ.

And this post would not be complete without mentioning the monthly devotional. This is last months Rise Up collection and it's not only gorgeous but rich in content encouraging us to Rise Up and take our place that God has prepared for us. There's so much that God has already given to us if we just stand up and claim it.

What will you be picking up in this fabulous sale? With 25% off don't forget to pick up some gifts for your loved ones and make someones day extra special.
