CTMH Ivy Lane

Today I have two fabulous layouts from the beautify Ivy Lane, retiring in just 2 more days.
This layout is done with the Workshop on the Go

I added flip flaps to get even more photos of my daughter's 13th birthday.

My second layout I used the Cricut Artbooking cartridge to do the wonderful honeycomb overlay.
I love to play with the overlays on this cartridge. Everything else was stamped with the WOTG stamp set and then I used the coordinating Ivy Lane assortment to finish the embellishing.

Both layouts are part of this months Scrap Club. You can join us if your local or have it shipped to you. Full instructions and cut guides are included.

Pure Joy CTMH Ivy Lane Layout

I have another layout to show using the lovely Ivy Lane.
I'm not much of a purple girl but with all the pinks and greens I love it!
I've been itching to use the hexagon stamp and then I found a fabulous sketch at Nuts About Sketches. This is sketch 292

Some close ups of the title. I used the Ivy Lane WOTG stamp to create it. I colored in some of the design with Olive and then stamped the word and trimmed around it to pop up over the die cut. The shape is cut from Artiste so it's super quick to get a title. A little bring on each side completed it.

Supplies used:
Ivy Lane WOTG for the paper and stamp set as well as the bling

Ivy Lane Case this Sketch

If you follow my blog you know I've been finishing off some of the upcoming retired papers from Close to my Heart. I found this great sketch and decided to use it with some papers left on my table.

Here's my take on the sketch using my Ivy Lane papers and an embellishment from an even older collection Laughing Lola. I love how CTMH's collections work so well together.

CTMH Timberline Cards

When I finish up my layouts I always round up my scraps and keep them in a bag until I can sit and create cards with them. This last week I spent some time finishing off some retiring paper packs.
This is one of my favorites Timberline. It's perfect for guys cards and I never seem to have any so I decided to keep them all on my the manly side.

Wedding Display Tray

I made this beautiful Display tray up quite a while back for a very special couple. They're both such sweethearts and this young man grew up with my kiddos. It doesn't seem possible that they're old enough to be getting married.
They're both very creative so I hoped they would enjoy this gift . I stole their engagement photos off their Facebook page and got to work.

I used the retired LaBelle Vie B&T paper since it matched her plum sweater so well. I also chose a stamp set from that collection as well as the embellishments.

I also used the Artbooking stamp set for some of the images. It has this lovely heart on it that went so well with the embellishments.

The Letter A is cut from the Art Philosophy cartridge as well as the rolled flowers. I then added some bling to each of them.

I made a 5x7 photo mat to rest on top of the display tray so they could add their wedding photo too it.

I love all of our Designed Decor. it is so easy to decorate up and make such a statement piece for our homes as well as gifts. We have several new items coming in August that will knock your socks off but for now you'll want to grab the retiring items before they're gone for good.

Wonderland Makeover

I repurposed this little box quite a while back but never got around to showing it so I thought I'd share with you today.
I love storage, organizing, and containers so you'd think I'd be really organized. Not. ;o)

This little box goes with me when I set up at shows and sits out in my studio with samples, stamp sets, or embellishments, whatever I'm showcasing at the time.

It started as a halloween box that I picked up at Hobby Lobby when they mark everything down 75% off. I think I paid about $1.50 for it. Steal!!

I removed the ribbon and of course put it with my stash to reuse. Then I sanded it down just enough to get the slick finish off the outsides. I left the inside alone.

Then I traced the sides onto my paper. This is the retired Wonderland B&T from Close to my Heart. Love it!

I used modge podge to adhere the paper to the box. You can put it over the top when it's dry to give added durability to the finish if you like. I found some brown ribbon and thread it through the holes and tied a bow.

How easy was that? Very! It didn't take long at all and I got a fabulous everyday box I can use year round for so many different things. I hope you enjoyed and be sure to check out the after season sales for items that can be repurposed.
