Spring Is In the Air

Or at least I keep telling myself that.  Twenty-three more days and good bye winter! I am so ready for spring and all the snowy yucky cold to be gone.

Today I thought I'd share another Digi Stamp from Treasure Box Designs. This little chick I did with colored pencils and a few Stampin Up markers.

The purple background was run through the Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots folder and then I rubbed across the top with the white SU ink pad. It gives a great effect to your embossing folders.

I hope you don't mind my little detour from the cricut for a while. I'm really enjoying coloring these images. Like I said before it is totally relaxing.

Have a blessed day

Gone Fishing

Here is another adorable digi stamp from Treasure Box Designs. I think this little kitty is so cute. I had a lot of fun playing with him. As I promised these examples show the different effects you can get using colored pencils, copic markers, or a mixture of both. Remember if you ever want to see any of the photos on my blog close up to just click on them.

This first card I used all colored pencils and kept if light and pastel looking.

For this card I used my colored pencils and some stampin up markers for the kitty. I also used my SU markers to do some shadow effects.

For the last card I used SU markers and Copic markers.

As you can see they're all cute just a little different so don't avoid working with digi stamps because you don't have the tools someone else does. Use what you have. If you want to invest in the Copic markers go for it and start off with a few color families and try them. They really are addicting. Or if you don't have anything and moneys an issue buy a set of colored pencils at Hobby Lobby or Michaels with a coupon of course and find your inner child.

It is so relaxing and I love that I can  take my work with me and do it in the car or anywhere else when I'm waiting on my kids activities.

Have a blessed day and tell me about your digi stamps. I'd love to hear from you.

Your Friendship Warms my Heart

I had the awesome pleasure to work with the new Digi Stamps from Treasure Box Designs. If you've not checked Dina's designs out be sure to do it soon. She has awesome cut files for your cricut and a freebie each week as well.

I chose to use the Winter Girl and my colored pencils. I love the copic markers and have a few but I know not everyone wants to invest in them so I thought I'd show that you can get wonderful results with colored pencils as well. I have some more digi designs I'll be sharing this week using copic and colored pencils so you can see the difference side by side. So stay tuned!
Have a blessed day and be sure to leave me a comment

Sweetheart Album Video

Hello everyone! I know it's past Valentines Day but I wanted to share a quick video of the album I made my husband. I used the Sweethearts cartridge to do all of it and I think it turned out fabulous.

Let me know what you think.
Thanks for stopping by today and have a blessed day

Valentine Cards for my lil bugs

This card was for my dd. She has quite the list for Prince Charming so this card was a funny spin on that. He must sing, have blue eyes, etc. so I told her that Prince Charming does exist but sometimes he needs a woman's touch and colored contacts. LOL I then added blue crystals for his brown eyes.
This little guy turned out to be such a cutie. I love monkeys! My son is quite the character and can drive me bananas but I adore him more than I can say. I included a bag of the banana runt candy with his card which is a favorite candy of his.

Supplies used
Frog - Sweethearts
Monkey - Sweethearts
Music Notes - Stretch Your Imagination
Heart - misc Stamp and cut around by hand

I hope you enjoy my cards and be sure to leave me a comment if you do.
Have a blessed day!

Who Loves You Card

Just a simple card I made my hubby for Valentines day. I used my Gypsy to design and make all the cuts. The I do on the inside is from the Sweetheart cartridge. I love this cartridge. Stay tuned for the album I made him using almost entirely Sweethearts. This is a must have cart.

Day Out With Thomas Take 2

I mentioned earlier that I was doing duplicate pages for my kids album so this is their pages for our day out with Thomas. I welded the title of this one together in Design Studio and used a sticker for the T in Thomas. I think it turned out great.
I've been on a roll lately trying to catch up. I know the layouts probably aren't that amazing and I'm not doing videos of them but it feels good to be getting all these old photos scrapped. I hope you don't mind the change up of posts. Hopefully it will inspire others that are as far behind as I am.

Have a blessed day.

This last weekend my good friends came over to scrap while our husbands watched the Super Bowl. We had a fabulous time and even got a few cards made. I thought I would share some of the cards my friend made.
I adore the idea she came up with this card and will definitely be scraplifting. On the inside she put I'd be lost without you.

Compass: Camp Out
Treasure Map: PDDU

Love: Sweethearts
Heart: misc stamp

Frog: Sweethearts
Heart: misc stamp

Frog: Animal Kingdom
Crown: Happily Ever After

I'll be sharing the cards I made as well but for now I hope you enjoy these.
Have a  blessed day

Day Out With Thomas

Sorry for the blurry pictures. I'm not sure what happened.
This was a fun layout to work on. The train and track have been in my stash for a long time. I cut them at the local scrapbook store waiting to do this layout. I'm glad to say it's finally done. I cut the title from the Mickey font cart and shadowed it; added some buttons to the wheels of the train and called it done.

Have a blessed day.

Have a blessed day.

Moo Moo

Ok, I'm in desperate need of a title. I really don't want to do Moo Moo since I did Oink Oink on the other layout. Any suggestions? Send me your best suggestions.

I can't believe my babies are all grown up. These two little bottle calves were a surprise from their Uncle. It was really fun until they realized calves eat really early in the morning and they want to eat more than once a day. LOL
The cow and pen are from Paper Doll Dress Up and the tree is from the Sweethearts cartridge. The grass is cut fit to length from the Plantin cart. I of coursed inked and chalked them to bring them to life. Soo cute! I just need a title. Wait I already said that. ;o)

Have a blessed day and I'm looking forward to those suggestions.

Oink Oink

More pictures from the vault. LOL This is pictures of my kid when we got our first pig. I don't know who was more jittery the pigs or the kids.
The pig is from Animal Kingdom and I chalked him. I think he turned out fabulous. The fence I welded together in Design Studio so I could do a 12" border.

The title was cut from Animal Kingdom then I chalked and outlined some of the letters to make them pop.
Just a little journaling and I have another page done for the albums. Actually I have 3. I've been duplicating the layouts for each of the kids albums. Woo Hoo I'm gettin er done. LOL
Have a blessed day

The White Stuff

Here's another layout from pictures way back although we've had this much snow this winter. I'm really ready for Spring. As you can tell from these photos compared to the photos I posted recently their daddy still pulled their sled but with a bicycle instead of the 4 wheeler. LOL

The title was cut from the Graphically Speaking cart. I glittered the letters and added a couple of snowflake brads onto the mat.
This little snowman and snowflakes was hand paper pieced long before my cricut and has been waiting to be used. It made a perfect journal box for this page.
I hope you're staying warm this winter and getting lots of scrapping done.
Have a blessed day!
