Easter Bunny Card

This is a quick card I put together this morning. The bunny is a digital stamp from Bugaboo Stmaps and colored with my copic markers.

The egg is cut from Doodlecharms and run through the cuttlebug with the Divine Swirl plate and then I ran SU white ink across the top. The ink and jewels are from my stash.

I'm entering this card with the following challenges. Be sure to check all these blogs out for great inspiration and enter a challenge or two yourself.

Khaki Tilda With Love

I've finished my second Tilda but struggled a lot with this one. I'm still not 100% pleased but can't think of anything else to do so here she is.
I colored her with my copics and used Basic Grey's Fusion line of papers to complete the card. The scalloped oval was cut with my cricut and the Storybook cart. The apple was a miscellaneous stamp that I cut out and popped up in her hand. I had the apple in her lap but my daughter asked me why the apple was suspended in air so I moved it to her hand. I'm still not sure what I could do to make her look like she's sitting.
I cut the oval and then around her legs to make her look like she was sitting in it. While I had my sewing machine out from the other card I decided to stitch around the base. I really like the look of sewing on cards. It adds such a nice touch.

I've entered this in the following challenges. Be sure to check them out and let me know if you enter as well.

Thinking of You Tilda with Lilacs

Rhonda sent me some wonderful stamped Tilda's and I just had to get busy on this one. Thank you again Rhonda. The Tilda's with the long hair remind me so much of my daughter. They're just precious. Even though I don't have many copic markers yet I was able to do her completely with copics. I think this is the most elaborate I've ever made a card and don't have a clue how it's going to fit in an envelope. I guess I'll just have to keep her. LOL I made this one 6x6  but I think I'll do the next 5x5.

I crocheted the flowers while waiting for my daughter's guitar lesson. The cartouche is cut from the Sweethearts cart and the butterfly is cut from acetate using the Indie Art cart. The stamp is from Stampendous. I even dug out my sewing machine and stitched around my paper.

Spring Chickie

I hope everyone is having a wonderful day so far. I'm trying to rush spring in so today I did another card for spring.

She's an adorable little chick from Bugaboo. I colored her with my copics and colored pencils. I used the Martha Stewart around the corner loopy punch to set it all off. I love these punches!

I've entered this for the sketch challenge at catchthebugblog. Be sure to check them out. They have digital freebies (which is where this adorable chick came from) and some great challenges.

I've also included this for the Cute Card Thursday Challenge 103: Celebrations

Have a Great Day Card

This is the 3rd challenge for critterchallengeblog I've done.

This was based on this sketch.

I cut all the scalloped squares with my cricut and storybook cart. Again everything but the brown background was from my scrap bin. You'd think I'd be putting a dent in it by now but I still have a lot of scraps to use.
Be sure to check out all the challenges and let me know if you decide to join so I can see your creations.
Have a blessed day!

Thinking of You Card

I've been really getting a lot done by doing challenges. Here are the challenges I completed.

I entered this card at Copic Creations  for their one year blogoversary.  We were supposed to choose a technique that we've learned this last year and they have some wonderful lessons. Since I've just started the technique I chose is combining Copics with colored pencils because they've really taught me how to use both until I can expand my copic collection more.

I did this adorable card for another challenge at the Critter Challenge Blog. We were to use green, yellow, and blue, and any flower. I chose this cute little turtle with the rose. All the paper is from my scrap bin. I am determined to dwindle it down and cards are a great way to do that.

Cute Daisy May Challenge: Anything Goes

And one more challenge to use the colors from nicoleheady's blog challenge. I chose Dawn McVey's color sample.

I sanded all the paper for a soft distressed look. The turtle was done using a digital stamp and some colored pencils as well as copic markers. Isn't he just plum cute?! I love the copic markers and added 3 more to my collection this week. I'm trying to use my 40% off coupons at Hobby Lobby and I bought some ciao markers at my LSS. They're a little cheaper and the same great quality!
The tag was stamped with Stampendous Friendly Messages stamp set and the ribbon is from the Karen Foster Mother collection.
I hope you enjoy my card and check out the Critter Challenge Blog to play along. Be sure and let me know if you do. I'd love to come check it out.
Have a blessed day

You're the Best Card

I did another challenge from the  critterchallengeblog today. It's a sketch challenge this time. I love working with sketches.

This is the sketch I worked from. I flipped the design but it's still the basic sketch.

And this is the card I made. I think she turned out adorable. I used my copic and colored pencils to color her. The flower is cut with my cricut and then shaped. I'll be making a video soon of how I did that. It's too fabulous not to share. The scalloped oval was cut with the cricut as well.

I also entered in stampinfortheweekend monocromatic challenge.

Our challenge was to pick a piece of fabulous jewelry from  Gotta Have Bling and create something inspired by it. This is the bracelet I chose. I think it's gorgeous!

And here is the layout I did which was inspired by this bracelet. I hope you like it and will try your hand at the challenge. Be sure to post here and let me know if you do so I can check it out.

Be sure and check out gottahavebling and paperjewelsstamps. They're both fabulous blogs!

Have a Great Day Card

It's Digi Day Challenge over at SNRcardiverse. We were challenged to do pink and yellow which really wasn't a challenge since pink is my favorite color. Be sure to check out their site for some great challenges.

I think this little pink butterfly turned out soo cute. It was a free digi I downloaded and unfortunately I don't remember who it belongs to. If anyone knows please contact me so I can give them credit.

I hope you enjoy and be sure to drop me a line to let me know if you do
