I got an error on the video, but my tip is to keep the stuff you use the most often nearby. And to even pick out what you intend to use right away and put it on your desk in a bin or holder of some kind. That way you aren't digging through things and you can shuffle your faves from time to time.

I may have to start drinking these or nab them from friends who drink this. I love the idea!

I Love the shelf above the window!

I love to organize items on the wall. It keeps my table clear for my projects.

I organize my acrylic stamps in empty Cd Cases. First, I photocopy the picture of the stamps. Then I place the stamps in the cd case on their original back up sheet. I then number the photocopy and the cd case with the same number. File the copy in a 3 ring binder in numerical order, then file the cd in a cd file box. So, when I want to find a stamp, I look through my book, choose the number and go get it out of the cd file box. Easy Peasy. I had sooooo many sets, that I had to do something or I never would have found what I wanted.

love the recycled bottles! great idea! I went to goodwill and bought a revolving spice rack. I put all my brads etc in the bottles by color. doesn't take up much room on my desk and looks great! thanks for the chance to win some blog candy!

Great idea! I did something similar, but with baby food jars! Find a friend that's got little ones and ask her for her empties. Clean them really well on the sanitize cycle of your dishwasher, and you're all set! The three different sizes work great for all sorts of things - brads, ribbons, flowers...you name it!

Great tips, I do this with my buttons, I love buttons and have several jars on my shelves. The grandkids love to sort them for me. I do use a lot of flowers and usually store them in the small zipper bags that curtains come in. I tend to buy the white flowers and then use my Copics to color them the color that I need and decorate with stickles or other glitter.

Thanks for the tip. I need to get drinking. I am just starting to get my room orgainzed so I loved all the tips the other people left also. I am currently trying to get all my mounted stamps unmounted and then I will store them in CD cases this will save me so much room and I think make it easier for me to find my stamps and hopefully use them more. Thanks again. Chris chrisbuob@centurytel.net

Thank you so much for the great tip on the frap bottles. I think it's a really neat idea. It would work great for skittles and buttons as well. I need all the tips I can get about organizing. I don't have a scraproom so I went to W and bought a 7 drawer rolling cart to organize all my nick nacks. It's been working great. Thanks for a chance at winning some flowers. I could really use some. Have fun organizing.

Great tip! We don't drink any sort of coffee drinks around here but I know plenty of people with babies so I've been hoarding their glass baby good jars. I have the 2.5 ounce size and the bigger stage 3 size as well. I painted the lids a purple metallic acrylic paint (cuz it is my favorite color) and use the little ones for buttons and skittles and stuff and the bigger ones for flowers, punches etc...also sorted by theme and or color.

I got the error too. I would have to say a couple tips i have are these...I use clear jars, containers and such. I use what I see a lot more than the stuff that is put away. The next idea...For the clear single stamps...I use baseball card holder pages. These are the perfect size for these.

I love this idea. I really don't have any tips as I'm starting out with my scrap area and myself looking for ideas and this really helped me think about stuff I have around I can use for organiztion. Thanks for the idea

I love this idea! Right now I have a 60 drawer thing for screws and stuff on my desk that holds all my brads, flowers,, buttons etc. I got it cheap at my hardware store.

I loved the idea of using those bottles, you are recycling as well as organizing! My tip is to try and find things around the house that would be helpful in the scraproom. An old muffin tin (you could even spraypaint it) is great for keeping those tiny embellies close at hand.

A fishing tackle box with dividers keeps everything together and easily visible.

Love this idea. I use small jars for my flower soft. This way they're not all jammed up in the original container.

I work somewhere that occasionally throws out those little favor tins like you see in Michaels- intended for wedding favors and such. I've started snagging them before they hit the garbage and I'm going to glue magnets to the back, get a small sheet of metal, and make myself an organizing rack for brads, eyelets, silk flowers, cut letters, etc. Saves me from buying one (they definitely cost more than the sum of their parts) and it keeps them out of the landfill.

I do the same thing with MY flowers! My DD loves the Fraps so we always have plenty of bottles, lol! I also haunt the dollar stores for any kind of storage containers.. I got super lucky yesterday and found awsome little metal cans that hold about 4 cups of "stuff". I bought 10 of them and now have to fill them up. Also- at JoAnnes, I got some great little "boxes" with individual spaces for brads, etc. I don't know how to describe them, other than they're seperated into 6 compartments, with a snap lid. Then, there's a carrying case that 4 of the boxes fit into. Great space saver and easy to grab for crops.

Your new room looks great! Keep the videos coming, I love them. Thanks for the candy too... you rock!

Don't count this when you "choose"... LOL! I meant to say the little cans hold about a cup... wish I could post a pic here! I got them at "Honks" if you have one close to you.

Thanks for the tip. I love seeing everyone’s organizing ideas. Like the tip you have shown here, mason jars work well too. They are cheap to buy. If you have a cricut you can cut out the letters in vinyl and stick it to the glass or use the negative portion of the vinyl and use etching cream to etch the letters onto the glass.
