Chantilly Smile

Here's another layout I created with Chantilly. I know I used all the pinks again but you could again flip the papers over and have blue/green for a not so feminine look. But can I say how much I'm loving to be able to create with so much pink! LOL I'll add more journaling strips between the banner and title.

I based this loosely on another sketch from Scrapbook Generation.

This layout will go next to the last one I shared. It features the before and after shots of my daughters braces.

CTMH Chantilly layout

Today I thought I'd share another layout I completed with my leftover Chantilly papers. 

I also used this months free Allison Davis monthly sketch. If you haven't discovered Scrapbook Generation and their sketches you have got to check them out. Their design style is great and fits my style perfectly. Their sketches make it super simple to get a lot of layouts done quickly.

March Scrap Your Stash Club

I'm so excited about the March Scrap Your Stash Club because it's my favorite paper pack for this Idea Book, Chantilly. I'm a sucker for pink but this paper is so versatile. If you flip the pinks over then you'll have a beautiful blue and green layout perfect for any boy theme.

This is the first layout we'll create. I kept it pinks and greens to scrap photos of my baby girl who is now 18. And yes I am a little behind in scrapping photos and no I do not scrap in order. hahaha

For our second layout I used more of the blues and greens but I still added in a touch of the pink because there was pink in my photos. You could again change the sides of papers for a completely different look.

Both layouts are designed so you can add as many or as few of photos as you'd like. I left room to write my journaling in but you could fill in the space with more photos is you have them.

Disney Countdown

I'm so excited to be planning another trip to Disney and this time you can join me. Close To My Heart is holding it's annual convention at the WDW Resort Coronado Springs. It's going to be fabulous! They treat us to such wonderful goodies and fun, fun, fun. You don't want to miss it. More on that at the end of my post so don't skip it. For now let me share my project I made for our upcoming trip.

I've always wanted to do a countdown to Disney project but my kids are a bit too old for the typical chain that you see. I saw a plaque on pinterest that got my wheels turning. I decided to make a frame and include a pic from our last trip. I cut the Mickey head out of our new chalkboard paper so that we could update the days left. I then took our new glitter paper and cut the Disney letters out. I can't tell you how great this glitter paper cuts.  The red gingham ribbon is some from our While Supplies last section. What a great bargain at only $1.50!  The rest of the embellishments came from my stash. After our trip I'll put the year and a new pic until we book our next trip. LOL I'm totally loving it!

February Scrap Your Stash club

I'm so excited to bring you the layouts for our February Scrap Your Stash Club. There are soo many possibilities to embellish these layouts. They're perfect for your Valentine pics or love in general.

January Scrap Your Stash Club

Are you ready to Scrap Your Stash or at least all those boxes of photos?

We will be using the CTMH Wonderland paper to start scrapping your winter photos this month. For my local gals we will be meeting Fri Jan 25th at 6:30 at my house.

You will receive everything you need to complete these two layouts as shown above, as well as instructions and access to a video instructing how to assemble. I'll also be sharing lots of tips and techniques used as well as extras such as suggested embellishments to use that you probably have in your stash. I intentionally left the layouts quite generic so you can use whatever size and quantity of photos you might have. If you're new to scrapping or want to purchase extra embellishments I'll have a list below of add-ons.

With All My Heart

My husband recently informed me that I didn't give him a card for our anniversary or for his birthday and how much he likes receiving them. I was shocked both by how much it meant to him and that I had somehow forgotten to make him one. He then reminded me that we spent our anniversary at the hospital; they had to take him back into surgery because he was bleeding internally after his first surgery. They had to place a drain in and we spent a week emptying his drain so in my defense it was a little crazy around here. Now for his birthday it's another case of our entire family gets really busy working for our church for our annual Christmas Train. I decided to rectify that since he always spoils me rotten and a card is the least I can do for him. He's been building me a custom scrap island for my studio all this week and so I decided to write him a special note to let him know how much I appreciate him and all he does for me and our kids.

I decided to use this weeks mojo sketch 273 and CTMH January's stamp of the month as well as the Flirty paper pack which will be retiring in January. I used Art Philosophy cart to cut the circles and the heart. I stamped everything with black ink and embossed with black embossing powder. It makes coloring a breeze with our alcohol markers.
