So Fun Circus Layout

Hello! This is Tina Gale again with Sweet Sassy Design Team challenge of the week of a circus theme. I decided to work with photos from the Cricut Stampede in March. Our first night we had a wonderful dinner of fair food and carnival games. It was a great way to start a very fun weekend.

I chose some fun paper from Imaginisce and let it set the tone for my layout.  

I cut the tent several times out of different paper to paper piece it since it didn't have layers. This is really easy to do when a certain cut doesn't have the layer button.
I cut the clouds twice with one being 1/4" bigger to layer them as well. This is another trick to add layers to your cuts.

The clown is popdotted up for dimension along with a couple of cute tiny buttons to add texture.

A tag for a secondary title or extra journaling. You can also see a little detail I added to the tent up close. I used my Sew Easy and a marker to add faux stitching to the tent. A couple of swirl clips give the illusion of holding the sides back and a couple of brads for the tent tie downs all adds dimension and that extra little bit to make the layout extra special.

The second page I kept pretty simple with just a few great cuts to tie it all together.

The sun is a favorite cut of mine and a couple of smaller tickets for extra journaling and notes finish the layout. I may also use the clouds for more journaling space if I need it.

Cupcake Easle Card made with the cricut and Tilda

Happy Birthday Cupcake Tilda

Hello everyone! I've been wanting to make a shaped easle card and finally got one done thanks to Magnolia Down Under's challenge. I designed it on my Gypsy and the Doodlecharm cart.

The icing is embossed with my cuttlebug and the Dvine Swirl folder. I wanted to recreate the pleated look of a cupcake bottom so I used the distressed stripe folder for it. I think it turned out fabulous. Of course you have to have some bling so I used stickles on all the swirls.

I colored Dinner Tilda with my copics and sat her on a piece of twill ribbon from Lil Davis Designs.

The Happy Birthday is a Studio G wood rubber stamp from the $1 Michaels bin. All the swirls were a perfect match for the swirls on the cupcake to tie it altogether.

Easter Bunny Card

This is a quick card I put together this morning. The bunny is a digital stamp from Bugaboo Stmaps and colored with my copic markers.

The egg is cut from Doodlecharms and run through the cuttlebug with the Divine Swirl plate and then I ran SU white ink across the top. The ink and jewels are from my stash.

Disney Magical Layout

I have 2 Disney trips that need to be scrapped and I finally started working on them this weekend thanks to a couple of challenges on the Disney Scrap groups I belong to.
The first layout here is a page I did with pictures of my family in front of each park.

I cut the Magical title and stardust from the Tink cart and then used stickles on them. I think they turned out awesome. The pictures do not do them justice. The scalloped background is from Accent Essentials.

A close up of the first page. The heart is from Doodlecharms I believe. I've got to get me a reference book to keep next to the computer when I post so I can double check these things. The castle is an old die cut I had.





Tink is from the Tink cart and I cut the filigree base then stickled the wings.

Valentine card

Here is the Valentine card I made for my hubby.


















 I used my cricut to cut everything out. The scalloped heart is from Doodlecharm and the scalloped frame is from Accent Essentials.



















I used the frame on the envelope and the inside I inked and used for the background of my card. I also cut I love you from Jasmine. I used a silver embossing powder all over the heart which just made it pop. I love how that turned out. Also on the envelope

I used a SU stamp and punched with my circle punch then matted with a scalloped punch.
This was a lot of fun to create!
