On An Adventure: Shimelle's Perfect Collection #6

Hello scrappy friends! I'm back today with another episode of Shimelle's Perfect Collection and one of my starting points. Sorry there's been a gap but I've been happily working on other projects. LOL

I started with a classic full background of two half sheets of paper divided down the middle. You can do so many things with this back ground as well as turn it where it's vertical instead of horizontal for different orientation of photos.

A look at the process

And some close ups

I had fun with this little printed embellishment to help complete my title and add some interest to all the straight lines in this layout.

I added in some circle embellishments to each cluster to soften the lines as well. Including some enamel dots and sprinkled mist.

If you've missed any of the other layouts or my supplies be sure to check them out.

Happy (Shimelle's Perfect Collection)

Hello scrappy friends! I'm back today with another episode of Shimelle's Perfect Collection and one of my starting points. Sorry there's been a gap but with the holidays and working on my December album this got shoved to a back burner.

Shimelle's the Perfect Collection

I've gotten behind in my posting with all the holiday preparation and Black Friday shopping not to mention Cyber Monday! LOL  Here's the first two layouts I've done with my starting points from Shimelle's Perfect Collection Class. If you missed the intro you can check it out here.
Intro to My Process of Shimelle's Perfect Collection Class

For my first layout I did a classic L shaped design with a couple of photos. You can see the whole process here.

For my second layout I kept with a central design so I could include the maximum photos. I got 4 on this one. Harah!!

You can watch the process video for this one here

Be sure to follow along on my Youtube channel each Friday for a new starting point an process video.

The Perfect Collection series

Thanks to some awesome peeps I've dusted off a class I purchased from Shimelle a while back. Shimelle takes you through cutting up an entire collection of paper into various sizes and then putting together starting points or base pages. It was really quite intimidating but with a little help from my friends I chose the My Minds Eye Sweetest Thing collection and began cutting up.

Here's a look at the intro of things to come each friday on my Youtube channel.

With my cut up collection I created 6 single pages and 3 double pages. I then rounded up a lot of my stash for embellishing so that I'm ready to do some quick scrapbooking!

Each Friday I'll be back with a starting point and finish it up by adding photos and embellishments.

I've learned so much from Shimelle and give her credit for most of my growth as a scrapbooker. She has a ton of videos and classes sharing her wealth of knowledge. I'd love for you to support her by buying this class or any other one from her website to support her!
