I love how the glitter just jazzed this bulb up. It's super simple and not that messy either. I ran the top layer through my xyron and then sprinkled with glitter. If you press down over the top it grabs all the glitter and it won't be rubbing off. Neat trick huh?

I added a dew drop for an added bling to the ribbon.

The paper really makes these cards so cute without a lot of work. I got them all from the single sheets at Hobby Lobby. I ran the tree through my cuttlebug and then highlighted the embossing with stickles. Gotta have some bling at Christmas time especially.

Christmas Ticket card

I thought I'd share some Christmas cards.  If you haven't already sent your cards these are all quick, easy, but lovely cards to send to your loved ones. I'll be sharing one each day for the rest of the week so be sure to come back and check them out.

I fell in love with this ticket stamp from Unity stamps and had to try it out. The poinsettias made a perfect finishing touch to the card.

See I told you they were quick and simple but oohhh so cute!

You Warm My Heart

This time of year you find yourself needing quick little gifts so I thought I'd share a few I made using my new Art Philosophy cart and stamps. 

 I made the  french fry boxes so that a few flavored tea bags would just fit. Who doesn't love a cup of hot tea this time of year. I know I do.

 I stamped the cup and sentiments on white paper and then cut them out. Pop dot them for some added dimension and pizazz.

 After assembling the boxes I tucked them in some cellophane gift bags and tied a pretty bow to match. Now how simple was that? Quick inexpensive gifts you can make for any last minute presents.

So Thankful

This week at sweetsassydiva it's all about giving thanks. I love this time of year! I love all the colors and I love reflecting on all the things I have to be thankful for. Even though we should be mindful all year long I hope you'll take a moment and think over the last year and even though you may have had tough times think about all the good things God has blessed you with.

I am so thankful for my family and that hubby has finished chemo and is doing so much better. It has been a tough time but God is always faithful to provide what we need when we need it.

 The picture above didn't quite turn out true to the colors. This one is much better. Someday I'll get my lighting worked out right. ;o)

CTMH Fall Thanks

It's great to be back for another week and another challenge at sweetsassydiva. This week our challenge was fall. I couldn't resist using the CTMH Art Philosophy cart and stamp set again. It has a fantastic oak leaf shape which is what I designed my card around.

Here are two of the stamp sets that you receive in the CTMH Art Philosophy package. The great thing is all the images have printed next to them the exact size you need to cut to match the stamp.

The leaf was cut at 2" and can be found on pg. 34. I cut 4 of them and then stamped with Olive, Barn Red, Sunset, and Autumn TerraCotta. These are beautiful autumn colors when used all together. Don't you just love Fall?!

The scalloped sentiment was cut at 2" and can be found on pg. 41. I cut it 3 times and stamped it in Olive, Creme Brulee, and Goldrush then cut apart to create layers.

The papers are from the Elemental line.
