Frosty Kisses Treat Bags

My daughter and I put together some really quick and simple treat bags for her friends. The topper was a cut from Gypsy Wanderings that we folded over for our base. The Frosty Kisses title is from the Winter Woodland Cart and the penguin is from Joys of the Season. Instead of cutting the facial features out I drew the eyes, beak, and feet on and chalked the cheeks. I think they turned out adorable doing them this way. We added some snow glitter around his feet to give it that bling.

These turned out adorable and everyone loved them. They were super quick to put together! I hope you like them and leave me a comment to let me know what you think.
Happy Holidays

Best Wishes

Here's another simple card using the same ornament cut from JOTS. I used a clear embossing powder on this one and it caused it to darken for a nice effect. I stamped the sentiment and used the same clear embossing powder. I really like the raised shiny look that it gives this card.

Ornament Card

I have another simple Christmas card to share with you today.

The ornament was cut from the Joys of the Season cart. I then added some silver embossing powder to the snowflake in the center and the top. It really made it pop. The ribbon is sparkly and adds an elegant touch to this card. The photo really doesn't show how great this card looks.
Hope you enjoy and are coming along with your Christmas cards as well.

Let It Snow Card

I had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends and hope you all did too. I'm finally getting around better so I'm going to work on my Christmas cards. I'll be sure and post them for all of you doing the same.

This card was a lot of fun to make. I'm still exploring the Winter Woodland cart. There is so much on this cart! This is Snowflake cut2 on page 33. I inked the edges, added some stickles for bling, and used my white pen to add dots around the scalloped square. I used the Let it Snow stamp for the sentiment and then a snowflake stamp and versamark for some more bling. I embossed with some silver embossing powder.
Hope you enjoy and as always I love to hear your comments.

A Dream is a Wish.....

I finally finished my quote for the  wall with all my photos on it. I've had it cut out for ever but since it's my staircase wall I needed hubby to set up the scaffolding for me to reach it.

I ended up cutting butterflies from the Hannah Montana cart to balance it out. This cart has a lot of great cuts on it. I absolutely love this wall in my room! I think it turned out fabulous.

Let It Snow Card

I made this adorable card for the blog hop challenge at Peachykeenstamps.
The snowman is a stamp I had. I used red flocking for his hat and applied glitter to his body then added stickles for his buttons and nose.
The background is the Cuttlebug snowflake embossing template. I rubbed blue ink onto it and then ran through the cuttlebug. I just love this effect!

I pop dotted him up to add dimension. The circle and scalloped circle were cut using Winter Woodland and my cricut.

The Let it snow is a $1 stamp from Michaels and the mittens are some buttons I cut the shank off of and glued on. I think they're the perfect touch.
I hope you enjoy and as always I love to hear your comments.

How to make glittered letters with your Cricut and Xyron Video Epiisode 11

This is showing how I made the title for my Year of a Million Dreams layout. I hope it's helpful and encourages you to try your hand at making your own titles. Think of all the money you can save on those chipboard letters.

Sorry the pictures a little dark. It's hard to photograph glitter.

Cricut Paper Piecing with Disney Cart Pt 2 Episode 9

Here is part 2 of the Cricut paper piecing Video. Here I'l show you how I lay it out and put together my pieces. Hopefully the tips I share will help those with questions.

Winter Woodland Embossed Card

Oh I had such fun with this card! I did the challenge from the cuttlebug challenge blog. I have never used ink on my embossing folders but that was the challenge and I have to say it was fun, fun, fun. I almost couldn't stop.

For this card I used the snowflake 1 cut from pg 32 of the Winter Woodland Cart. I cut it at 2 1/2" and did the 3 layers in different colors. I added a snowflake eyelet to the center and dew drops.

I rubbed a light blue dye ink onto my Snowflakes embossing folder then put my paper in and ran it through the Cuttlebug. What a fun effect! I'm so glad I tried this.

As always I love to hear your comments and you should try this too. It's addicting.

Have a blessed day
