 Here's a look at the second layout without photos.  My pics didn't fit the sketch but I made what I had work so don't ever be afraid to scoot photos around and make your layout work with the photos you want to use.

I'm taking a Allison Davis sketch class with some online friends and it teaches how to make sketches stretch many different ways. The first layout is my assignment for this week and I went for just a few changes to the sketch but kept fairly true to the original. If you'd like to learn more about using sketches I highly recommend this class.

NSD with Scrapbook Generation

I had a wonderful time this weekend celebrating National Scrapbooking Day with Scrapbook Generations in Springfield. I'm making a quick post with 3 of my layouts I completed for the challenges.

First up is Challenge 1 - Stars
Super fun layout I created with several clearances papers I picked up this weekend. I stamped the embellishments. The medallions matched the ones on the paper almost perfectly.

Second is Challenge 3- 1 pg sketch
This easter layout is extra fun because it's made entirely out of Halloween paper I picked up for 1/2 off this weekend. I also added the heart ribbon slide which was another goodie we got at the crop.

And finally Challenge 5 - 2 pg sketch
